Your hands

Posted on December 19, 2024December 19, 2024

Your hands on my waist
My fingers through your hair
the lights are dimmed
your breathe on my face
I surrender who I am
your touch takes my breathe
you take my breathe
you take my breathe

Now here we are
I see it in your eyes
Our minds connect
before we even met
I’ve waited for you
Dreamt of this day too
Nothing prepared me
for being yours

Your hands on my waist
My fingers through your hair
the lights are dimmed
your breathe on my face
I surrender who I am
your touch takes my breathe
you take my breathe
you take my breathe

And now I feel
the warmth of your caress
you bring me into port
with every beat of your heart
I taste your fingers on my lips
my hands on your hips
You taste so sweet
As we lay upon the sheets

Your hands on my waist
My fingers through your hair
the lights are dimmed
your breathe on my face
I surrender who I am
your touch takes my breathe
you take my breathe
you take my breathe

When you're gone
I try to recall
all of your face
the curl of your lip
The warmth of your touch
the furrow in your brow

And when you’re gone
I try to recall
all that you taste
Replaying in my head
The smell of your skin
Every kiss you give
Laying in my bed

Your hands on my waist
My fingers through your hair
the lights are dimmed
your breathe on my face
I surrender who I am
your touch takes my breathe
you take my breathe
you take my breathe

I try to recall
all that you taste
Replaying in my head
The smell of your skin
Every kiss you give
Laying in my bed

I surrender who I am
your touch takes my breathe
you take my breathe
you take my breathe
